For this project, our team designed the Biotechnology Innovation Center for HCC Coleman College for Health Sciences. The center is envisioned as a space that brings together cutting-edge technology and sustainable design in a way that feels both innovative and welcoming.

Our goal was to create an environment that supports collaboration, flexibility, and well-being. The open-concept layout encourages fluid movement and teamwork, while smart features like AI-friendly systems and intelligent lighting help improve comfort and efficiency throughout the space.

We used LEED-certified materials, including natural stone, to ground the design in eco-conscious choices, connecting the high-tech feel of the space to nature. We also drew on Eastern Feng Shui principles to create a balanced flow, paired with Western ideas of functionality and innovation. Natural textures like bamboo and stone soften the industrial aesthetic, creating a calm, focused atmosphere where people can feel both energized and at ease.
